Why
Invest in United Way?
United
Way knows that people like you really want to make a difference in your community.
We also know that you receive numerous requests and appeals for your time
and money.
One of the easiest and most convenient ways to help is through United Way.
Your United Way contribution, because it is magnified by the investment of others, has the capacity to bring about changes that matter.
When you contribute, you help more than one person or charity. You are part
of the collective efforts of people working together right here in Chippewa
County.
United
Way is the most efficient, effective way to meet the ever growing needs in
our county. Money raised here stays in Chippewa County and goes to work helping
those who need it most.
Local
United Way Community Campaigns
Local
businesses and individuals raise funds for United Way in the communities of
Bloomer, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Cornell, Holcombe, Lake Hallie and New Auburn. United Way funded programs
serve individuals and families in these communities as well as Boyd, Stanley and surrounding areas.
Who
decides what programs are funded?
Volunteers
from Chippewa County review agency program and financial data, meet with agency
personnel, visit agencies and allocate funds to those organizations that will
best meet the priority needs of the county. This strong system of volunteer
accountability provides assurance that United Way programs are responsive
to the needs of the communities we serve and guarantees that your contribution
is well spent.
